Ross Collado’s latest exhibit is a daring look back and introspection of melancholic tones and figurative symbolisms wrought from pain and despair after the tragic loss of his parents.
His mother was raped and murdered when he was 21 years old and his father later on took his own life in 2009.
Yet, in the same mind-space, like a story unfolding, the collection showcases a realization that the artist has healed from the brokenness and has moved forward in love, peace, compassion and beauty.
